Blocks

Blocks are patterns that, when sewn into a garment, take the least amount of volume for a required shape. Basic blocks include: bodice (straight and fitted), trouser (straight and fitted) and skirt (straight and fitted).

Templates

Templates are used to create design variations of garments with similar volume and cuts. They are derived from basic blocks and generally include: blouse, jacket, coat and/or any garment that you wish to use to create design variations.
